E komo mai, welcome to Radiant Love Reiki on the Garden Isle of Kaua'i.  Reiki is a spiritual healing art with roots in Japan and Tibet.  The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words - Rei, which means "God's wisdom" or "the Higher Power" and Ki, which is "the life force energy."  Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice.  It is not massage, nor is it based on belief or suggestion.  It is a subtle and extremely effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.  Reiki works holistically on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.  It can induce blissful states of calm that are consciousness altering.  When combined with other natural therapies such as meditation, crystals, and aromatherapy, these effects are deepened.
