Aloha, my name is Janine. I became a 2nd Degree practitioner of the Usui System of Reiki in Brooklyn, NY in 2013. Shortly thereafter, I was called to the magical island of Kaua'i to start a new life in service to others. The Island of Kaua'i, known for its natural beauty and healing energy has been the home of Reiki since 1936. Kaua'i is the oldest island in the chain. It really is the island for meditation and retreat. Historically, the island is where initiates came to become kahunas. I believe that Kaua'i represents the sixth chakra, or the third eye chakra. It relates to the element of light and the color purple. The Vibrations are much faster and higher here. Here we get in touch with our inspiration.
